Wearing polyester sucks!

I mean it. It sucks your energy.

Today we’re talking about polyester… I have already disappointed too many of my friends by talking about how bad oat milk is with its toxic seed oils. Now, I will talk about the most popular fabric and material you can find in & on clothing stores and websites. You can find this material on Amazon and in Target. You can find it in high-street stores or even high-end stores. It’s even used in bedding… with sheets & duvets being made out of it. But I think it’s important to get down & dirty with the 411 on materials we wear or snuggle up with. Knowing about the material gives us power. We can’t perish by lack of knowledge, right? Right!

So, I'm pretty sure we ALL have this material hanging somewhere in our closets. If not fully, then partially by way of contents in a garment.

Polyester: some love it, others hate it. Some buy it because it's cheap or convenient, others buy it because it's pretty or durable, but not always. It all depends on your preferences. I'm typically not a fan of it. If it's between polyester and silk, I choose silk. And if it's between polyester and cotton, well again I'll choose cotton. If I'm shopping for a client, I will most likely choose polyester. And what I find that polyester is, is the great imposter of fabrics. It can disguise itself as cotton, silk & linen. I have 1-2 pieces of polyester-based garments, one of which is a pair of black dress pants, they are 100% polyester. But overall, I prefer natural fibers over polyester myself. But if I find something made of polyester that is really cute, I will potentially purchase it.
